We started our exploration of the Book of Hebrews. No one is sure of whom it was written by, but it was written to believers of Jewish descent. The context places the book's time of origin before 70 AD, but the exact time is not known.

1. We started with the opening greeting and the case for the explanation the ministry of Jesus Christ.

God the Father spoke through His Son.

• Who he is

Appointed and above angels.

• Why He should be followed

God the Father's chosen heir

• How he fits into Jewish tradition, while opening new avenues of faith, practice, and explanation.
